Door selection questions

How does a sectional overhead door differ from a high-speed PVC door?

A sectional overhead door has horizontal panels that travel along tracks. A high-speed PVC roll-up door uses a flexible curtain. Compare opening frequency, available clearance, insulation and separation requirements before choosing a system.

Can an insulated door be used for a cold storage or freezer opening?

Insulation alone does not establish suitability for a freezer. State the temperature on each side, humidity, opening cycles, condensation or icing conditions, and any heating requirements. Low-temperature suitability needs specific confirmation.

What should a Middle East, European or North American project RFQ include?

Specify the project country, required standards and approval documents, site temperatures, dust or corrosion exposure, wind loads and power supply. Label dimensions and loads with their units: mm or inches, kg or lb. Regional location alone does not establish a product certification or electrical configuration.
